Senior Business Analyst experienced in the *GEAC general ledger *accounting package system within a somewhat customized environment. Must be able to support full life-cycle for new projects (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation), as well as assist in providing resolution of production problems. Qualified applicants will be required to prepare project plans, estimates, functional design documents, test plans and other project related documentation, as well as lead potentially large-scale testing efforts within the team. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of *US financial *services industry. Extensive knowledge of methods, tools, and technology used to carry out tasks necessary to prepare business assessment deliverables. Considerable knowledge and use of quality management methods, tools, and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software that meets the needs of the client/business partner. Considerable knowledge of the basic principles, processes, phases and roles relevant to a waterfall methodology. Knowledge of architectural design principles, practices, and theories. Knowledge of basic concepts of object-oriented design and programming. Skill in understanding and focusing on the clients’ needs, establishing credibility and building relationships with clients. Skill in analysis, solid decision-making and problem solving skills. Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and team building skills and manage conflict. Ability to communicate exceptionally both verbally and in writing.
