We are looking for direct testing of web services using SOAP messaging and the QTP Web Service add-in. Were testing front end GUI applications that may make calls to web services. But for us, we don’t have a front end GUI. We’re the web services app, so our QA has to simulate the SOAP request messages send to the app, and be able to read the XML response message returned.
