*Job Description* :
1.In this position, candidate will mainly focus on developing, maintaining,
executing manual tests in near-production Windows Embedded Automotive
environments targeted at the user experience and feature. Test plan
development may also be a part of the test collateral generation output.
2.In this role, the test area owners will develop, track, and validate a
set of in-car scenarios that map to the user experience of our product as
seen by millions of consumers.
3.Strong user-focused engineering and interface design skills are needed to
assess the completeness and cohesion of these automotive UI scenarios.
4.Responsibilities include writing, maintaining and executing test cases,
analyzing, debugging, and reporting code bugs, and manual testing in
vehicle environments.
5.Much of the testing for this product and in this position requires the
true and full user environment, so this testing will be targeted not only
at validating the software on our embedded device, but also how it
integrates with other components in the vehicle, and performs over time
in-vehicle during normal usage and stress scenarios.
6.“Drive testing”, testing in vehicles while performing normal vehicle
travel functions along routes, is a critical piece of this functional
software validation process.
