Overall Job Purpose
First-line support of critical in-house front-to-back trading s systems and
services used by the Commodites-Indexed Transactions Group in New York.
Coordinate with the London CIT IT Development team and develop bug-fixes
and new features within the Global CIT IT Platform. Products covered
include North American Power and Gas, Oil, Natural Gas Liquids, Base and
Precious Metals.
Business Overview
CIT provides liquidity and market-making services across commodity markets
to a large and diversified base of clients worldwide.
Key Accountabilities & approximate time split (%)
The main responsibilities for the position are :
1 – (70%) Support in-house and vendor trading systems, feeds and
applications used by CIT front office and operations in NY, centered around
a branch of Triplepoint CXL. Functionality covers trading, market data
analysis, confirmations, physical commodity scheduling, transaction
settlements and accounting.. In-house technology is primarily C#/VB.Net,
Oracle/MS SQL Server database, MS Excel/VBA.. CXL is primarily
Java/Delphi/Oracle.
2 – (30%) As a member of the Global CIT IT team, participate in the
development of the Global CIT IT Platform which will eventually replace
CXL.. Client technology is primarily C#/MS SQL Server.
Person Specification
Intermediate level object-oriented programming experience, preferably C#.
Intermediate level relational database experience, preferably MS SQL
Server.
Working knowledge of financial markets, derivative products, etc.
Commodities Derivatives knowledge a big plus, especially in North American
Gas and Power markets.
Business currently uses a branch of Triplepoint CXL for physical gas and
power trading, scheduling and settlement functionality. Work experience
with CXL or similar energy trading risk management system a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills..
Must be able to thrive in a demanding front-office environment.

This is a role requires an individual with strong BA skills PLUS plus
general understanding of SAP. They also need specific knowledge in HCM
module, Learning Management area. Primary role is attending conference
calls and meetings and documenting business requirements and process flow
diagrams. There is the possibility of travel both domestic and
Internationally, so the candidate must have a valid passport and capital to
travel internationally on occasion. Travel costs will be covered by the
client.
SAP HCM Architect Role for a Management Consulting Firm. Responsibilities:
As HCM Solution Architect you will be assigned to IT Initiatives and will
be asked to review business requirements and interpret these into an
architectural design. You will be required to participate in blueprint and
design sessions, review options and provide recommendations while
communicating benefits, risks, and constraints to both the business and the
various IT stakeholders. You will also be required to support the
development of business cases for new SAP HR initiatives. The role must
present the concepts and direction to senior business and IT executives.
The HCM Solution Architect will also be required to support the
implementations after the blueprint has been created by reviewing
deliverables and ensuring the project stays true to the initial designs –
or that the blueprint is updated to reflect significant change. This role
requires prior experience with time and expense customization within a
management consulting or managed services firm. A key focus area will be
the functional integration points between HCM processes, SAP core
components, SAP technology components (e.g. Portal) and other non SAP
technology sets. You will work closely with other Solution Architects,
Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Information Architects and
Security Architects as part of the Solution Architecture Team. Work with
all the project leads (e.g. ECC, CRM, BW, MDM) and Technical Leads on NWDI,
EP and PI. Provide a single point of contact with other teams for SAP HCM
solution design issues. Provide architecture recommendations, options and
pros/cons on potential changes to SAP implementation scope and functional
solutions. Ensure timely issues identification, resolution, and appropriate
escalation. Develop impact assessments on the Financials area as it relates
to any changes / revisions / additions. In addition to the above, you will
also be responsible for the evaluation of various SAP Support Stacks and
upgrades and will provide direction on any potential specific SAP
enhancements in your process area. The role requires strong interpersonal
skills, both written and spoken, to enable them to lead workshop
discussions with the business and achieve desired outcomes (at all levels
of the organization). The role will require interaction with all levels of
the organization (from technical teams to IT and business senior
executives). The Solution Architect should be SAP certified and have many
project implementations experience (including full lifecycle) in the HCM
area. The candidate should have experience implementing SAP for a
professional services organization and ideally worked with the integration
with engagement planning and resource scheduling solutions in SAP
(cProjects and MRS). The candidate should have previous project management
experience.
