Duration : 6 Months Start Date : Immediate* *Job Description :* Support, enhance, test, and deliver software tools (appfetch, ATS, etc.) which provide the necessary infrastructure to deploy applications within the WAD++ standard. o Advise team on the technical implementation of WAD++ for new or significantly changed applications. Identify associated strength and weaknesses of the implementation, and propose alternatives as necessary. o Ensure the integrity of WAD++ application packages prior to release. o Use strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate WAD++ use across ETC and Upstream Business Units. o Proposes and implement initiatives within the team to improve deployment process and tools. Prepares written documentation. The critical areas of experience as mentioned below in the job description are C++, QT, Python, and Linux Shell Scripting and familiarity with Linux Workstation Application Deployment (WAD++) process. *Experience:* 3 – 4 Years of Experience required in Testing. Preferred Skills: Programming experience (C++, QT, Python, and Linux Shell Scripting). Understanding of the software development lifecycle and concepts. Linux/Unix experience o Prefer Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or the Geosciences. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Ideally has applied these problem solving skills previously in the Geology, Geophysics, or Reservoir Engineering domains. Demonstrated team player with the ability to work both independently and in a group setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate at both a high and detailed level.
