*Must Haves: *Cognos Administration with version 8.4.1 Excellent Communication Written and Verbal (Super important!) Knowledge of Cognos Security Best Practices Design and Development experience within Framework Manager Ability to re-write reports from Cognos version 7 to Cognos version 8 Cognos Version 10 Exposure Ability to write documentation and do knowledge transfer *Pluses: *BSP (Bright Star partners) Report Automation Tool Experience Previous experience doing an evaluation of a Cognos environment from a security best practices standpoint *Role: *In this role our client is looking for a strong Cognos Developer and Admin to first and foremost help them evaluate their current 8.4.1 environment from a security perspective and to make recommendation about the architecture of their world. An ideal candidate will be able to weigh the current pros and cons of their environment and make recommendations based on best practices. Overall administration of version 8 will also be an important part of this role and as a requirement we are looking for someone with at least a 50/50 balance between Admin/Development in their last few roles.
