Position : Sr Websphere Portal Developer Duration : 9+ Months Location : FORT WORTH, Texas *Summary:* Design, Develop, Implement and modify WebSphere Portal applications for a leading airline's airport services IT. The applications are built in IBM Portal Server using WebSphere Portlet Factory. The system will integrate with SOAP-based web services, databases and legacy systems to retrieve and present information in a portal application while ensuring a common look-and-feel across all applications. Candidate must have strong technical skills as well as be a good communicator, organized, and self-starter. The ideal individual is also comfortable interacting directly with business users and helping to discover requirements, as well as someone who can act as an ambassador for portal in the organization. *Education/Experience * Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required 5-10 years experience required Minimum of 1 year WebSphere Portlet Factory development experience Minimum of 2 years Portal experience (WebSphere portal preferred) Minimum 4 years JEE experience *Skills * WebSphere Portlet Factory Version 6.1 or higher (Required) Development of custom WebSphere Portlet factory builders Java, JEE, Javascript, XML, XSD, WSDL, AJAX, DOJO, SOA, Web Services.
