The purpose of this position is to provide all aspects of Oracle database administration for multiple databases in a 7x24 production environment. The resource in this position will handle the day-to-day database administration including space allocation and management, optimization, backup, recovery, DB instance performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, standards identification and compliance, in ensuring a high-level of reliability and availability for database management systems. In addition, the resource in this position must have the ability to work independently on technical functions associated with creating and maintaining Oracle databases in a RAC environment on AIX Unix and Linux. Other Qualifications: 3+ years’ experience managing Oracle in a RAC environment Expert is performance tuning Strong knowledge of Oracle’s OEM Tuning and Diagnostic PAC Bachelor’s Degree or 7+ years’ experience in managing Oracle in a RAC environment in lieu of a degree. *HARRY WILSON | * IT Technical Recruiter *CAT Technology Inc.
