Seeking a senior IBM SOA Developer with years of experience in IT industry
to join SOA/BPM team involved in designing, developing and testing
application integrations and business processes. Experience in design &
development of structured SOA services in a multi-development discipline
environment.  Experience with multiple development environments and SOA
stacks.

*Roles & Responsibilities:*
Perform SOA infrastructure installation and configuration.

Adhere to structured development lifecycle methodology
Create Detailed Design documentation based on detailed requirements as
defined by Business Analysts
Translate business requirements into service definitions by discovering
existing service assets to reuse, considering design alternatives, and
implementing the best strategy to ensure design meets performance,
usability, reliability and scalability requirements.

Participate in the definition of both functional and non-functional
requirements for service specification; and design and implement within
current development framework, standards and support tools.  Coordinate
with development team to collaborate on requirements, and perform peer
reviews.

Present designs in design review sessions
Conduct analysis of interfacing system APIs and protocols to determine
effective levels of data and process abstraction.  Use BPM to build
composite services over the Enterprise Service Bus, Rules Engine, and other
technologies.

Develop and modify mediations/modules
Develop custom data handlers
Create XSLT and Business Object mapping
Present code in code review sessions
Provide defect analysis and resolution support for system and user
acceptance testing
Provide support for system implementations

Conduct structured unit and integration testing
Conduct testing and participate in QA and UAT testing to validate the
functionality of services, and conduct regression and performance testing.

Prepare development schedules, design documentation and change controls, as
necessary.

*Essential Skills*

Requires strong grasp of structured development methodology, i.e. RUP/Use
Cases, Agile Development, etc.

Must have thorough knowledge of installing, configuring and developing in
WebSphere, BPM (IBM Process Center, IBM Business Process Manager Advanced,
IBM WSRR Repository) and SOA & Integration.

Must have solid experience in XSLT, XML, WSDL, BPMN/BPEL, WebSphere MQ, as
well as WESB, WID, JSF2/RichFaces, Java/J2EE Application development.

Need to have a excellent knowledge of WESB.

Proficient in SOA architecture and standards. Knowledge of Oracle, DB2
databases, and WSRR.

Experience in commercial software industry & information technology

Strong experience in SOA enablement and transformation programs

Experience with SOA implementation involving the use of Enterprise Service
Bus, Business Rules Engine (ILOG or ODM), Web Services, message queues (MQ,
JMS), and XML technologies.  Experience with SOAP message and XML
introspection tools.

Experience using a SOA registry/repository for design-time evaluation of
candidate component services, and run-time monitoring of service
performance characteristics.

Experience integrating with legacy system adapters and wrappers

Experience in Modeling including Canonical Message modeling using Industry
standard formats.

Strong background working with Object Oriented Programming using patterns.
Extensive Java development experience a plus

Adhere to architecture guidelines; ensure deliverables are completed on
time by self and team.  Team player.

Experience in SOA guidelines, policies and processes and working
effectively in design teams.  Ability to work with limited guidance,
self-starter.

Ability to work quickly and efficiently in designing and implementing
technical solutions.

Excellent communication/client interface skills

*Non-Essential Skills:*

Additional experience in the following technologies is desired: WebSphere
Portal Server, COGNOS, Filenet, STS, and IMS Resource Adapter.

*EDUCATION:*

Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in computer science, information
systems or related field; Master's degree preferred
