* * *Java Developer with ADF Experience* *6 months * *Location: Huntsville, AL* * * * * *The key is the Java Dev skills (with the ability to do web development) and the Oracle ADF Skills. * * * *Job Description* Under limited supervision, the individual will be responsible for the development, customization, and support of IT solutions for the purpose of facilitating business processes. The primary focus will be on a Java-based customer portal. Individual will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities will include web and integration development. Technologies include Java, ADF 10g, and Oracle Application Server 10g. Individual must possess a strong understanding of object-oriented design. Individual will work in an Agile environment using Scrum processes and XP development techniques. Individual will do regular demos of functionality to a product owner and end users. Individual will support systems used by hundreds employees and thousands of customers and will interface directly with users to provide quick resolution to critical support issues. Individual will work with a team of cross-functional developers to provide an optimum solution to complex problems. Individual will play key role in maintaining and implementing IT solutions. *Qualifications* Position requires 8 years of experience in software development using object oriented programming. Minimum of 3 years experience with ADF 10g is required including experience with both ADF Faces and ADF BC. Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience with Java related technologies such as Java EE. Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, and Web Services is required. Experience with jQuery, AJAX, JSF/JSP, and Apache is preferred. Experience with a source control management solution is required. Individual must be able to work under limited supervision and must have strong communication skills in order to work directly with customers and peers. Individual must be a team player and will be required to work a team of cross-functional developers. Adherence to coding standards, software configuration management, and IT management processes including change management, source control, and release management is required. Good documentation skills are expected. Originality, ingenuity, independent judgment and a reasonable degree of self-direction and decision-making are expected. *Education* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other related field is required.
