Candidate will work on Client’s legacy Portal re-architecture. The portal
will be replaced with Oracle’s portal framework.

Candidate should have experience in the Oracle fusion middleware and the
Oracle Portal framework using ADF, JDeveloper and Oracle’s WebCenter 11g
PS3.

Experience with Oracle Identity Management is also desired but not
necessary.

Candidate will work to define and document the overall solution
architecture logical view in support of Enterprise architecture and
business requirements, with particular emphasis on Portal architecture,
design and application development.

This position is for an experienced architect/engineer that has previous
experience in Portal development, architecture and design.



*General Summary: *

An Advisory Systems Engineer has the responsibilities to develop new
applications and perform lifecycle support for existing applications. The
engineer must possess excellent knowledge of the overall application
environment and the tools that support products and services.  The engineer
must also provide leadership in team meetings and lead application
development teams from the concept stage through final implementation. In
addition, the engineer must be completely accountable for all tasks
assigned to the engineer individually or to the team / project that the
engineer is leading.  Finally, the engineer is required to adhere to all of
the company’s software development procedures and processes while
fulfilling the leadership role.



*Support internal procedures used to support existing/new applications:*

Create a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) of hours for projects.

Create a Level of Effort (LOE) of hours for projects.

Use NIKU to enter hours worked every week.

Use the test tool to emulate transaction entities.

Use our configuration management tool (Continuus).

Use our Solution Gateway tool for recording, tracking, analyzing and
resolving software defects.
