RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and support Jira in the role of a Jira Expert, Enterprise &
Configuration Administration
• Interface with technical and non-technical staff to translate business
goals into actionable technical requirements
• Work with other SCM tools and systems engineers and vendors to design,
implement, and support a SCM ecosystem
• Create integrations among multiple SCM applications including Serena and
Perforce
• Migrate from Serena to JIRA
• Participate as a team member in Scrum Sprints; Demonstrating progress at
the end of each Sprint
• Participate in projects as a subject matter expert on JIRA and other
Atlassian tools
• Participate in the development and improvement of documentation,
standards, guidelines, and processes in regards to infrastructure
management and automation tools
• Build cross organizational relationships in order to achieve required
goals
• Organize and prioritize workload in order to meet necessary deadlines.
• Make independent judgments/decisions within established guidelines.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics,
or related field
• 3+ years of experience in the development, design, and/or support of
Information Systems
• Confidently support Jira, Confluence & MS SharePoint
• Familiarity using Jira plugins to produce Agile project metrics &
status/progress reports
• Ability to develop custom plugins and widgets for Jira a plus
• Proficient in administering JIRA
• Familiarity with Agile & Scrum processes and working in Sprints
• Experience with extracting data feeds from commercial-off-the-shelf
products, normalizing and storing the data, and presenting it through
reports and/or dashboards
• Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as: Perl,
Groovy, JavaScript, PHP, SQL Scripting
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows OS
