Job Title: SharePoint Developer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Norristown, PA
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Discovery for SharePoint environments and application needs for customers
Create SharePoint 2007/2010 applications and workflows from design documents
Create new SharePoint applications for internal SharePoint 2007/2010
environments
Create a Statement for Work and any pertinent documentation for any new
applications to be developed.
Work closely with IT to deliver SharePoint applications developed as
determined within the SharePoint Governance documentation
Provide technical support for SharePoint application developed and
implemented
Provide development for SharePoint Applications:
Develop applications in SharePoint 2010
Highly skilled in requirements gathering, systems design, development,
implementation, documentation and support
Utilize relevant technologies and procedures to maintain application
integrity
Documents problems and fixes on production event tracking servers and
ensures it is communicated to others as required
Identifies skills and/or resources required to solve problems and escalate
as necessary
Has comprehensive understanding of SharePoint 2007/2010 development
environments
Supports Professional Services teams by providing developer support:
Applies technical knowledge and expertise to design appropriate solutions
using in the SharePoint 2007/2010
Participates in developing strategies required by the associated business
owners
Analyzes and documents requirements for SharePoint solutions
Develops comprehensive SharePoint 2007/2010 solutions to meet the business
owners technical requirements.
Plans for the quality implementation of solutions.
Assures the technical validity and interoperability of the solution and its
direct relationship to the business owner’s objectives.
Develops customized solution implementation plan, working with the business
owner, IT and any third-party resources. Obtains commitment to activities
and schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications):
ASP.Net 3.0+, C#, .Net Framework, XML, XSLT, Java Script, JQuery
SharePoint 07/10, Visual Studio 08/10, SharePoint Designer 07/10
SQL Server 2008+, SharePoint Object Model, SharePoint Features, BCS
Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007/2010 including: Custom Web Part
Development, Business Data Catalog Development, Custom Field Types, Search,
Workflows
Microsoft Reporting Services 2008, .Net Web Services Development, PowerShell
Requires full proficiency in systems analysis - problem isolation,
diagnosis and resolution.
Requires appropriate certifications in the necessary developer environments
and applications.
