Job Title: Senior System Administrator
Location: Jackson, MS
Dutation: 6+ months
Direct Client Requirement
Knowledge of Linux systems (ie navigation, administration, and maintenance)
Knowledge of database structures, concepts, SQL creation and administration
functions (ie of databases: MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, DB2, Informix, MS SQL)
Knowledge of programming languages (ie, php, pearl, java, DotNet)
Good communication skills and ability to convey best practices to clinical
staff
Ability to convey technical needs and aspects to IT support staff
Self-motivated in decision making and daily task completion
Have an understanding of Project work flows, tasks, time lines and
completion
Experience with REDCap, survey monkey, etc.
SAS experience (statistical software)
Was worked collaboratively with research investigators to provide technical
and user support for research database applications
Experience building clusters to serve research needs
Web programming experience
Work related experience in all of the above
Degree in Information Systems
Hospital or Clinical experience only
