Job Title: Junior Systems Admin Location:Irvine CA Duratio : 6+months Description Resource is responsible for the administration, deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, performance, stability, availability, security, recoverability of ALL Home Loans application servers, this includes but not limited to: application servers, load balancers, firewalls, blade technologies, san technologies, citrix, databases, etc. In addition to the server hardware, the systems administrator is also the principle owner of the applications running on those servers, this includess but not limited to: exchange, citrix, anti-virus, inhouse developed applications, websense, server virtuliazation (VM), device lock, laserfhice, accounting, escrow and title, etc. In addition, the systems aministrator is responsible for the windows domain infrastructure / active directory infrastructure and the primary entities on that domain. The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: This resource is responsible for the administration and operational health of all internal DHL servers and applicationsFunctions as an exchange administrator. Responsible for the exchange infrastrucuture, performance, recoverability, troubleshooting, etc. Creates & manages user accounts, disibution groups, mailboxes, mail properties, journaling, archiving, etc. Functions as a Tier 1 internal support for 3rd party applications: accounting, title and escrow, secondary, imaging, etc. Will directly engage 3rd party vendors during troubleshooting. Recommends new software purchases. Installs all 3rd party applications. Functions as a Network and Security Administrator. Responsible for the security and availability of the network. Functions as a Citrix Administrator. Responsible for supporting DHL citrix enivornment which is responsible for rendering production applications to the business in Louisville, KY. Responsibilities includnot limited to the performance and stability of the site. Escalates issues to the vendor as necessary. Responsible for depolying & patching new verisions of the citrix environment. Responsible for deploying internal code modifications to the citrix farm in conjunction with code deployments through the SDLC. Functions as Virtualization Administration. 95% of the HomeLoans application infrastructure is virtualized. Responsible for creating new virtualization instances as necessary to support technology advancements and the business needs.
