Must be able to juggle multiple projects and organize time effectively • Strong critical thinking skills *Desirable Technical /Functional Skills:* The Data Quality Analyst Lead will run the profiling initiatives which deliver data warehouse Data Quality solutions in support of Data Modelers, Data Stewards and the Project Teams. The team lead is responsible for managing the day to day operational / tactical management, use, and identifying quality of the information assets within given projects, managing data quality repository, analyzing data sources, designing data quality reports, designing, testing, deploying, and documenting the data quality solutions and data profiling rules, monitoring the data warehouse data against data quality rules as well as ongoing data monitoring. *Key responsibilities include:* • Coach, provide feedback and guide others • Gains thorough understanding of technical and business requirements, and verifies data integrity and quality accordingly • Becomes highly knowledgeable in existing data warehouse structure, BI subject areas and BI dashboards. • Utilize data quality tools, as well as with various data sources to profile, create business and data quality rules by working with data stewards to understand the business requirements, translate to data mapping, uncover, determine root causes of data quality issues • Analyze data in test and production environments • Profile source data using data profiling tools, understand the source system data representation, formats and data gaps • Assist the business analyst/project manager/data steward in defining or modifying the project Data Quality Rules based on business requirements • ETL and mapplets development and coordination within the Data Quality development team. ETL and mapplets development standards and implementation. SDLC lifecycle. • Strong focus on reporting initiatives. Define reporting needs, establish reporting calendar. Maintain up to-date documentation • Creates and performs unit, integration, regression and load testing at the database and application level with existing tools. Takes ownership of the QA environment. Develops and executes robust quality assurance testing • Creates and maintains a library of reusable test plans for future projects / enhancements. • Proactively makes recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness as it relates to quality standards and testing methodologies • Provide guidance, technical assistance, and mentoring in data quality to other team members • Identifies and reports bugs.
