This contractor will be used to augment the current Data Services staff
inperforming core TSM administrative and operational activities in support
ofthe Enterprise Backup/Recovery environment. The expectation is
thecontractor will already have expertise in the specific
technologiesinstalled at AEP and with minimal direction will be able to
perform the day to day administrative tasks. The contractor will also need
to be able towork a flexible schedule to accommodate planned activities
that must occuroutside of normal business hours as well as participate in
an on-callrotation to provide emergency after hours support.
"Must have" required skills:
Expert level skills in IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
administration in alarge Enterprise environment
Experience supporting TSM Server V6 and V5
Experience supporting the following TSM agents: TSM for
Database, TSMfor Mail, TSM for the Virtual Environment, TSM for Sharepoint
Experience in troubleshooting TSM backup/recovery issues
Working OS knowledge of AIX Unix, Windows server, VMware, and
Linux
Strong communication skills
Experience working with IBM Tivoli technical support
"Nice to have" preferred skills:
Storage administration experience to supplement TSM and OS
skills
Experience working with tape library hardware
AIX systems administration experience
Working knowledge of shell scripting
