*Job Title: Network Engineer Duration: San Ramon, CA or Concord, CA Location: 6-12 Months Contract * **** Need Local to CA only **** ** *Job Description:* Our client with offices located in San Ramon and Concord CA is in need of a Sr. Network Engineer for a 6-12 month contract with strong possibility for extension. The Engineer will be responsible for working on projects related to implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance management, capacity planning: Including Infrastructure design, build-out and deployments. The ideal candidate will come from a large network background with experience working with various industry leading manufacturers for WAN/LAN/Security/Load Balancing/wireless technologies. This person must have a strong understanding of routing, switching, security and wireless. *REQUIRED SKILLS: (MANDATORY)* • Installation and Configuration experience of Cisco routers (880, 2800, 2900, 3900, ASR1K and 9K) • Experienced installing and configuring network interfaces, SPA, SFC on Cisco routers • Experienced installing and configuring Cisco Catalyst 2900, 3500, 3700, 4500, 6500, Nexus7K 5K, and 2K Switches • Configuring VLANs, STP, VTP and Inter-VLAN routing in LAN environment • Physical cabling, IP addressing, WAN configuration • Experience MPLS, Ethernet • Upgrading the network by translating protocol like EIGRP to OSPF • Used DHCP to automatically assign reusable IP addresses to DHCP clients • Installation and configuration of DNS, TFTP and FTP Servers • Usage of network sniffer like Wireshark • Setup and Maintenance of circuits • Hands on experience with various Wireless technology and products • Hands on experience with Firewall and proxy servers • Experience with Cisco/A10 load balancers • Experience with Infoblock • QoS • Perl scripting • Strong writing skills, organized and articulate and a strong team worker *HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS: *• CCNP and/or other Cisco Certifications * -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks & Regards, Bob Smith | Sr Technical Recruiter | **Direct: 609-423-4881 | Fax: (609) 228-5321 | **bob.sm...@consultingknights.com* <bob.sm...@consultingknights.com> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
