Job Description:

RSIC will be directly responsible for the following aspects of the project:

·         Assembling a list of all accounts

·         Providing standardized nomenclature for the data input

·         Providing schedules for data updates

·         Compiling a list of all data and report requirements

·         Compiling a list of scheduled and automated reports

·         Providing all historical data

*Required Skills:*

·         Minimum 8 years’ experience with data warehouses required, *SQL
(Expert*), Excel (expert), *Windows Server 2008*, *Visual Basic, MS
PowerPivot*

*Deliverables:*

The Database project deliverables include:

·         A comprehensive database with returns and NAVs for every
line-item account as well as composite group returns.  RSIC will work with
the contractor to develop a FTP based automated collection process with BNY
Mellon and up to 5 other potential sources to collect current and future
data.

·         Historical benchmark returns to be associated with each line item
account.  RSIC will provide the historical benchmarks via an excel
spreadsheet.  Going forward a system will need to be designed to collect
the current and future benchmark data from approximately two sources.

·         Build and automate standard monthly reports and stored procedures
for a composite system and for return calculations by time range
consolidations.  This data will need to be accessed via a front end such as
excel, access, or MS PowerPivot.  The future goal is to access this data
via a web based portal (this is not part of this project, but the database
should be designed with this goal in mind). Triggers for ODBC refreshing
should be designed to accommodate new data reports as necessary. Queries
and views will be designed and documented as required.

·         A reporting engine that will calculate contribution and
attribution (fund return vs. benchmark returns) of returns by line-items or
consolidations. RSIC will provide the calculation methodology for these
items.

·         Transfer of knowledge and documentation throughout the project.
