• Identifying, documenting and analyzing opportunities to improve business
processes, and facilitating business unit adoption of new processes
• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business objectives and functional
requirements
• Developing business architecture and designs.
• Selecting, developing and implementing technology tools and applications
for Web technologies – required experience in .Net for web, Web Services,
SharePoint 2007, Rich Internet Applications and XML.
8 plus Years Must.
Bachelors in EE, CS, Math or Related Field
Prepares feasibility studies of potential systems including new technology
assessments; Designs overall systems architecture and provides complex
specifications; Instructs and coordinates activities of assigned
Application Developers and other professional staff; Provides technical
liaison with external consultants and contractors; Consults with internal
clients and users; Prepares project time and cost estimates; Leads
post-implementation and ROI analyses; May perform project management
functions such as project plan development and user requirements definition.
Requires detailed and comprehensive knowledge of the IMF’s business
objectives.; Excellent knowledge of and extensive experience developing
applications in a variety of programming languages, operating systems and
computing platforms; Expert functional knowledge of application area to
which the incumbent is assigned, e.g. document management systems, economic
systems, administrative/financial systems.
Ability to work in and potentially lead a group; Ability to work with
clients and outside groups to determine needs and requirements; Ability to
analyze and manage complex projects; Ability to write and communicate
effectively with subordinates, peers, end users and IMF management.
