*Location – San jose*

*6-12 Months *



*Job Description*

1.            Hands on experience in Java, J2ee, ejb, jsp , jms , xml, web
services

2.            Should be well versed in configuring, troubleshooting WAS,
Weblogic (Knowledge of Oracle application server would be an added
advantage)

3.            Experience in configuring various JVM options, enabling
traces for debugging to tune application server

4.            Have knowledge to apply  JVM specific GC policies and their
performance benefits

5.            Experience in profiling JVM during development

6.            Experience in using any JVMTI based monitoring tool , JMX for
monitoring

7.            Experience in troubleshooting and monitoring webservers, load
balancers, LAN , WAN

8.            Good understanding on Multi-threading concepts

9.            Should be aware of coding best practices

10.          Knowledge on new technologies and frameworks like Spring,
Struts, Hibernate, Ruby, Scala, PHP and added advantage

11.          Hands on in generating heap and thread dumps and must know how
to analyze them

12.          Expert in shell scripting with added advantage of knowing Perl.

13.          Capacity planning based on load testing data

14.          Should be capable of resolving issues cropping in production
env

15.          Should be capable of reviewing code for performance
improvement of application

16.          Must be aware of performance testing methodologies
(load,stress,endurance testing) and their implementation

17.          Should be an excellent team player with good communication &
attitude.
