Must Have Skills:
• Experience navigating complex interpersonal and business relationships is
required.
should have experience gathering requirements for BI and ETL projects
• Experience with process mapping is required.
At least, understand concepts of how ETL or BI project works.
• Experience documenting Information requirements using dimensional
modeling and presenting them in a clear and understandable format is
required.
• Knowledge of large scale business intelligence and data warehousing
systems is required.
• Ability to understand, evaluate, and recommend changes to complex
business processes is required.
• Ability to understand, evaluate, and recommend changes to analytical
models is required
• Experience working in a regulated environment is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies is strongly preferred
1.5 years Minimum of experience required***
2.Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Computer
Information Systems, or equivalent
3.Specific hardware/software experience: BI systems preferred (Microsoft
BI or Cognos)
4.Top 3 qualifications looking for in a candidate: Analytical (can ask
the right questions to drive requirements gathering), communications,
relationship builder : Meeting with business and IT folks to understand
business processes and develop requirements; writing requirements,
technical specifications, testing documents; working closely with BI
developers to clarify requirements questions
5.Measurable performance objectives expected: Data model, business
requirements documented, functional requirements documents, test scripts.
