(Microsoft Certified Professional Database Developer preferred) ü Expert in new SQL language elements including use of Common Table Expression’s, Apply/Cross Apply operators, logical and physical partitioning of data. (Knowledge will be tested with current production code). Solid understanding of set-based-solutions. ü Expert with stored procedures, triggers, SQL scripts, and performance issues with client/server database design and Data Access Layer design, including browser based applications. ü Expert in use of metadata for code generation and code that writes code (highly desirable). ü Experience in database monitoring and tuning, including SQL Profiler, Windows System monitor, indexing strategies and query/index tuning. ü Experience with high-volume databases, index management, physical database design, and server configuration settings. ü Expert in relational data modeling principles and techniques. ü Ability to balance the needs of multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. ü Experience with large mission-critical application databases. ü Ability to share product specific technical knowledge with peer developers. è*Essential Functions* ü Provide strong technical leadership and expertise in database design, implementation and maintenance phases related to specific vendor DBMSs. ü Plan and execute database modifications including the full release life cycle and methodology ü Create and manage ETL packages, triggers, and stored procedures, views, SQL transactions. ü Database monitoring and tuning during the development and testing cycle. ü Perform other tasks as assigned consistent with this level of responsibility. ü Develop new and provide support for existing secure data feeds with external parties. *====================================================================* *Position 2)* * * *Role : SQA MANAGER* *Location :* *Raleigh, NC* *Duration: 1+ Year* *Required Skills: * ü This position reports to a SQA manager. ü Work with BAs and Development teams in analyzing the requirements. ü Develop test plan in accordance with the requirements. ü Develop test cases based on the identified requirements. ü Execute test cases and track the results. ü Manage Defects for the assigned project(s). ü Monitor batch processes as needed. ü Be flexible in handling the tasks under different functional areas as needed. ü Be pro-active in identifying Risks and provide updates to management as and when identified. ü Report status to the QA manager on the deliverables in a timely fashion and as and when needed. ü Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). ü Self-motivated with positive attitude. ü Well organized and be responsible for the designated tasks. *è**TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:* ü At least 5 years of QA experience. ü Very good SQL skills.
