*Please send resume with Rate, Location and Contact Details to [email protected]* *Title: Functional Automation Senior Tester Location: Cincinnati OH Start Date: Sept 9 2013 Duration: 6+ months Rate: $40/hr C2C Maxxx * ** Must be able to travel as required. * Must have own personal transportation * Must be flexible to travel between locations as required on short notice * Job description - * 2+ years of significant Agile experience * 4+ years Java development experience * 2+ years integration testing experience * Create QA Task List in order to meet objectives and deadlines * Participate in Requirement & Design Doc review session; evaluate requirements & design docs from a quality testability standpoint * Create Detailed Test Cases for full requirement coverage/traceability * Execute Test Cases to validation correct functionality of application * Manage test coverage based on risk analysis * Use SQL for back-end database validation * Document defects and evaluate priority of defect based on overall application functionality * Coordinate Test Case Reviews with stakeholders are being held as appropriate. * Perform various types of testing including white box, black box, integration, back-end DB validation, system testing as needed * Adhere to requirement review, defect writing & test case writing guidelines * Coordinate testing efforts between 3rd party testing team. * Keep Lead Tester informed of current state of quality and test progress * Ensure completion of all deliverables within schedule, budget and quality constraints. * Participate in Root Cause Analysis sessions * Ensure that projects follow prescribed software development life cycle standards. * Develop and maintain good relationships with project team. * Identify obstacles and roadblocks; and offer suggestions to work around obstacles Retail & Logistics Industry experience preferred.
