Experience with virtualization 3. Experience with system administration (primary: Linux, secondary: Windows) 4. Experience with infrastructure services and protocols like DNS, DHCP, SSH, X Windows, HTTPS, NTP, etc. 5. Experience with shell scripting and at least one of the following: Ruby or Python or Powershell 6. Ability and willingness to pick up more scripting languages as needed (e.g. Perl, javascript, PHP) 7. Good knowledge of configuration management tools like Puppet and Chef with hands on experience with Chef and DVCS like git or mercurial. 8.
