*Job Title: IT - Data Analyst III*

*Department:*

Agile Located Team – Work in an Open Lab within an entire infrastructure of
other labs. Part of the technology organization in DotCom. Enable under
lying functionality for websites and other products. Team will always be a
small team of about 10.

*Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:*

•             Learning and deeply understanding our current data domain,
sources, and structures.

•             Seeking out new and/or better sources of data, and new and/or
unexpected uses for existing data.

•             Exploring and examining data from multiple disparate sources
to uncover trends, patterns and hidden insights.

•             Contributing to the discovery and definition of acceptance
criteria and specific acceptance tests.

•             Collaborating in the automation of acceptance tests.

•             Investigating acceptance and/or regression test failures.

•             Working closely with Operations, Community Management,
Developers, and Customers to build meaningful product and process feedback
loops.

•             Transferring information to external teams as changes move to
production.

•             Sussing out edge cases via exploratory testing.



*What would a normal day for this position look like??*

•             Stand up every morning with the team.

•             Every day is going to differ depending on the data and where
it is driving the team.

•             Work closely with Operations, Heads Down Analysis and Queries.
