The engineer will be responsible for operations and escalation of issues to the storage environment. These individuals will oversee the backup, recovery and archiving of the data. Generates standard project documentation including detailed test plan for complex networks. Superior level knowledge in (1) of the following and strong knowledge in all other areas of: SAN, NAS, DAS, Fiber Channel, FCIP, FCoE, Data Replication, Backup to Disk, NDMP, RAID protection, De-Duplication and Oversubscription Superior level internetworking troubleshooting in a medium / large-scale storage environment. Engineer should be trained and capable of independently delivering storage service support. Directly involve in installation, Configuration and Integration of Cisco Storage/Cloud Projects. Consultants to go through structured training program to achieve next level of expertise and career advancement. Cloud design skills. Installation and cabling standards. Hitachi or EMC certification(s) with an additional technology specialty certifications *Business:* Undertake support as designated engineer for solutions and new products. Medium/Large-scale solution design skills. Active participant in virtual technology teams Superior Consulting and communication skills Successfully manages customer relationships Performs analysis of business requirements to data protection. Builds simulated solutions in test labs to resolve complex problems and compatibility issues. Performs analysis of complex storage/cloud solutions. Provides remote or onsite deployment support. *E**ducation/Experience:* B.S./ B.A. degree or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of Storage System (HP, NetApp, EMC, Hitachi) and Storage Networking (Cisco, HP, Brocade) implementation, support, pre-sales support, hands on installation in the physical deployment. Leads and works on projects that are medium to large in scope with moderate complexity, which involves solutions integration. Independently develops plans, coordinates and executes tasks. Ensures commitments and deliverables are met.
