Understanding of SDLC process within a fast-paced, multi-tiered architectural environment. • UNIX and Linux experience is necessary along with SQL. • Experience writing SQL queries is a plus. SQL database knowledge is preferred. • Strong, methodical approach to problem solving. • Theoretical and analytical skills, with demonstrated ability in planning and operations. • Familiarity with Equities and Options and general market knowledge is a must. • The incumbent must be detail-oriented and demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills. • Ability to work independently within a team environment. • Excellent organizational skills are required with the ability to multitask between several different tasks that involve data script entry, designing test cases, and executing test scenarios. • Familiarity with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how a QA methodology fits into the SDLC.
