Data Warehouse Specialist responsible for designing and developing data
warehouse solution in support of users' BI needs
* *
*JOB DUTIES *
Gathering user data requirements, identifying and analyzing source data to
meet user requirements
Designing relational data models for handling integration of source data
and dimensional models for BI reporting
Designing and developing the integration components (e.g. UNIX scripts,
Stored Procedures, PowerCenter ETLs) to enable final delivery of data to BI
layer
Leading the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence
applications
Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems
Ensures that the use of business intelligence applications enhances
business decision making capabilities
Work closely with BSA and business users in gathering requirements, source
system teams to understand and analyze data patterns, DBAs to fine tune
physical data structures and developers to execute on the overall data
warehouse solution
