This is not a DBA position. *Duration*: 6 months *Location:* Chattanooga, TN * * * * *Top 3 skills:* DB2, AIX, and support – 3 environments Dev/SAT/Prod. Also SAS would be a plus even at a surface level. *Development breakdown:* New development will be 50%, Code Enhancements 30%, and Support will be 20% *Soft Skills:* Must have great communication skills as "you never know when they will have to communicate with senior management." Modis Health IT is in search of a senior DB2 developer for a 6 month contract. The environment is enterprise in size and utilizes UDB on an AIX platform. This is a high visibility role to help out with a spike in workload. Any exposure to SAS would be a plus. The position will primarily focus new development or enhancements across development, test, and production environments. All work will need to be performed onsite in Chattanooga, TN. Travel expenses are not reimbursable by the client. Interviews are being set immediately. * * *Job Title App Development Sr Specialist Specialty Skills * · Duties Production / Release schedule support of Monthly update of both SAS data mart and UDB DB2 AIX Data base. Ability to understand and support complex production applications.
