We have immediate requirement for Oracle BRM.

Positions are based out of NY for 9-10 months.



Job Description:



*BRM Developer II*

* *

*Technical Requirements:*

•        Minimum of 5 years of Application Development experience.

•        Must have strong C development skills

•        Experience with Oracle BRM for a minimum of 3 years with focus on

o   Transaction handling

o   Object manipulation (rflds, wflds, create_obj)

o   Knowledge of event sub-classing.

o   Encryption/security controls

•        Opcode development using best practices in regards to memory
management and performance optimization.

•        Oracle BRM 7.2.1 (or later version)

•        Experience using code management tools  (e.g. CVS)

•        DBMS: Oracle 10g, 11i

•        Software Development: C, SQL

•        Enterprise Architecture: XML, SOAP, etc. **

•        Domain knowledge: “On*Star” (nice to have)

*Other Skills:*

•        Must be able to effectively communicate with and support other
team members and groups

•        Must have the ability to work from business requirements and
technical design.

•        Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to work effectively as
part of a project team and foster team cooperation.

•        Must show initiative in completing tasks and be able to perform
duties with minimal management oversight

*Technical Requirements (must have):*

•        Minimum of 8 years of Application Development experience.

•        Must have C development skills

•        Experience with Oracle BRM for a minimum of 5 years with focus on

o   Cycles – How they are managed on the account level, bill level, and
product level.

o   Taxes – How they are associated with a product, rated event, bill.

o   Pricing – Advance Pricing Configuration.  (Discounts, Rate Plans, RUMs,
Currencies)

o   GL – Posting, Month End Reporting, and relation to rated events,
pricing, accounts.

o   Bills – Components of, relation to accounts, and to Ledger Reports

o   Collections – Various stages and key sources of transition

o   Accounts – Various Hierarchies, Types, Attributes, and Statuses.

o   Services – Relation to Accounts, Products, Devices.

o   Currency – Multi-Currency Considerations, Account Balances

o   Non-Currency – BEID file, Pricing, Account Balances

o   Data Model – Oracle BRM 7.2 Class Model, Oracle BRM Data Model
familiarity

o   Interfaces – UEL, DM’s, Policy Op-Codes, Client Applications

o   Performance Tuning – Performance tune the daily batch applications
based on MTA/CAF framework.

•        Experience in the following areas

o   Interfaces to 3rd party systems for taxation (e.g. Vertex)

o   Interfaces to 3rd  payments (e.g. Paymentech)

•        Opcode development using best practices in regards to memory
management and performance optimization.

•        Oracle BRM 7.2.1 (or later version)

•        Experience using code management tools  (e.g. CVS)

•        DBMS: Oracle 10g, 11i

•        Software Development: C, XML, SQL

•        Scripting (UNIX shell or Perl)
