*Job Title: SQL Developer (Must be local or nearby)Location: Milwaukee, WIDuration: 12 Month Project * Applicants Must Have 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting an advanced functional data warehouse. Recent experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Extensive knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analytics Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to import/export structured/unstructured data, process it, and deliver reports off the central data warehouse. Basic understanding of the .Net development (C# or VB.net/ ASP.NET) environment.
Solutions Development & Innovation Maintains a high awareness of evolving data warehousing trends and emerging database technologies. Understands complex business requirements, and uses industry knowledge and SQL Server expertise to propose solutions that improve database accessibility, usability, and performance. Works to enhance existing systems by proactively analyzing business objectives, identifying areas for modification/improvement, and preparing action plans. Solutions Implementation & Support Works with other developers and internal stakeholders to ensure high quality development, deployment, and ongoing support of all database components, including providing accurate time estimates for given tasks within projects. Writes advanced SQL Queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers with database performance in mind. Updates and regularly fine-tunes existing data reports, and proactively develops new reports that meet evolving business intelligence needs.
