Role :Sr. System Administrator : Location :St Paul,MN- andwill move to Eagan Duration :1 year Note:Pleasenote that this position will start at the St. Paul location and will move to Eagan Top skills · VMware experience with Windows 2008 (Must have) · Solaris Top soft skills – (Preferred skill) · Manager likes candidates that are self starters but on the flip side the candidate needs to be able to take direction at the beginning of the assignment. · Candidates who are ok with asking questions when needed. · First part of the assignment, the candidate will be assisting with moving a server room from the St. Paul location to a MO location. · Second part of the assignment will be VMware migration and Splunk admin. Please note that this group tends to convert to FTE if all goes well on assignment. VMWare top skill needed, to work with vSphere clusters utilizing vMotion. · SPLUNK administration experience is a plus - or is an opportunity to learn a new technology. · A lot of chaos in November, December, and January as the datacenter moves from St Paul to St Louis and people move from St Paul to Eagan. VMWare and Networking skills essential. First set of duties is to assist in preparing servers for lift-and-shift move to another data center: VMWare, Windows, and Solaris. Once thats done, VMWare migrations and SPLUNK administration are priorities. · Looking for a self-starter who is able to take and follow directions, ask questions, and build solid solutions. · Looking for someone who can contribute immediately. · Position starts in downtown St Paul, and moves to Eagan in January.
