*Position summary & key areas of responsibility*
We are currently seeking an eCommerce Consultant to join our team. As a
member of the eCommerce Services team, you will be responsible for
providing the best possible client experience by developing best in class
web based solutions for Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and other web based
financial solutions.
eCommerce Consultant will consult with clients on requirements, document
requirements, design solutions, write software, unit test, create releases
and release notes, system test and investigate and resolve client issues.
*Key Areas Of Responsibility*
The eCommerce Consultant will consult with customers to define and document
their requirements, and provide estimates based on those requirements.
Software solutions will need to be designed and documented based on the
requirements, and if third party solutions are involved, the consultant
will need to work with the third party to understand their solution
interface specifications. The consultant will provide estimates for the
work, and when approved, write software, create a deployment release with
corresponding release notes, and provide the release to the eCommerce
Operations group for deployment. The consultant will unit test, system
test, integration test, and may be called upon to perform other testing
responsibilities as well.
The eCommerce Consultant is responsible for:
Understanding the financial domain as it relates to online and mobile
banking for consumer and business banking.
Interacting with clients to understand existing and new requirements,
and how new requirements can best be designed into the NCR Online and
Mobile Banking solutions.
Interacting with other solution providers to integrate NCR’s solutions
with other best in breed solutions.
Understanding the architecture, design, and configuration of NCR’s
existing Online and Mobile Banking solutions.
Using Microsoft and other technologies to program and develop
enhancements and new solutions relating to NCR’s Online and Mobile banking
solutions.
Using one’s own existing knowledge to research and determine the best
way to develop new solutions based on requirements and what is available in
the industry to meet those needs.
Providing engineering level support to Online and Mobile banking
clients.
Testing NCR Online and Mobile Banking solutions.
Resolving client issues and problems within NCR Online and Mobile
Banking solutions.
