Role :.NET Oracle BI Developer. Location :Brooklyn, NY. Duration :12 months + F2f is required PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Client Server Automation Re-engineering project entails the design, development, and implementation of several significant enhancements to existing client service applications and processes. Tasks & Duties Ø Develop and prepare documents for the general design of solutions that meet system and security requirements, including the selection of alternative approaches. Ø Develop specifications for databases, communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage and software configurations. Ø Develop structured diagrams for the specifications of databases, communication systems, computer or storage area networks, security or network programs. Ø Develop, compile, maintain and document configurations of the following: databases, servers, computers, security and network monitor systems, packaged programs, macros, utilities, and communication systems. Ø Develop operational and installation procedures for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage and software. Ø Develop guidelines and upgrade techniques of new operational procedures for the support of databases, hardware systems, operating systems software, network systems software, security and client server systems. Ø Develop detailed systems operations designs. Ø Work with MIS staff (e.g. managers, senior programmers, support staff, product manager) to plan program code implementation, enhancements and changes. Ø Create, test and maintain program code. Ø Design reports, audit trails/logs, security mechanisms. Ø Provide assistance to MIS technical support staff when they are unable to resolve a program, database, or IT issue by themselves. Ø Occasionally contact customers as needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem. Ø Provide general programming assistance to other MIS programmers/projects as needed. Ø Tests programs and systems and integrate system modules. Ø Develop, implement, and monitor information technology quality assurance standards. Ø Develop SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) strategies and test plans Required Skills Ø Minimum 8 Years Experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access. Ø Minimum 8 Years Experience with data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation. Ø Minimum 8 Years Experience with technical and user documentation, software conversions. Ø Minimum 8 Years Exposure to environments include but are not limited to mainframe, mid range, personal computers, laptops. Ø Minimum 8 Years Experience in leading in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions. Ø Minimum 2 Years Experience of .Net Framework including: VB.Net, ASP.NET, Experience with ADO.NET, VB6, Java Script, XML, WEB Service, VBScript, C#, Object oriented concepts and technologies. Ø Minimum 2 Years Experience with Oracle database Backend processing and knowledge of Oracle packages, stored procedures and functions. Ø Minimum 2 Years Knowledge of SOA trends, SOA standards including web service, XML, XSLT, SOAP, WSDLs. Ø Minimum 2 Years Knowledge of UNIX server Scripting.
