Role is very dynamic - an ideal candidate will need to be able to understand Application Architecture and to some extent environment that we work in, including Physical and Logical infrastructure. Design, manage and tune Microsoft SQL Databases. Having knowledge of AD infrastructure and Microsoft technology is a plus. Roles and Responsibilities: • Develop new web applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications. • Maintain and enhance existing Web applications and all internal systems are integrated. • Create reports • Perform application testing • Conduct UAT and report results. • Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use. • Develop database-driven web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing. • Develop external web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information. • Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn. Note: Other duties may be assigned as required The Ideal candidate will also possess the following skills: • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines. • Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications. • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized. • Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers. • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills. • Basic understanding of Microsoft AD, Windows Server OS, Windows clients and DFS Technical Skill requirements • Must possess strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 (including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS,DTS) , o MS Visual Studio o VB Script o Silverlight • Internet Technologies: o ASP.NET o C-Sharp o XML o HTML o DHTML o IIS • The ability to communicate and educate non-technical users a must. • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
