This position is expected to last for at least 1 year. *Job Details:* • Leads requirements gathering for software development projects. • Develops requirements documentation and functional design specifications that are business function oriented and easily explains what will be accomplished and how the system will behave to accomplish the desired results. • Develops or contributes to the development of work flows, data analyses, and business cases as required. • Follows and ensures team follows prescribed software development methodology. • Works with development and quality assurance team members to resolve any issues. • Maintains project documentation with any changes occurring throughout the project’s life cycle. • Works with QA personnel to develop test plan to correspond with functional designs. • Supports QA team with application testing as required. • Prepares implementation and conversion plans and procedures, and then works with other departments to ensure smooth transition of new or changed functionality. • Works with development and quality assurance team members to prepare the software for complete operational status. • As necessary, aids key individuals in other departments in the preparation of user procedures and training materials. • Assists in the Beta and post-implementation support of released software components. Relevant Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent experience is required.
