Hi, 9to9 Software Solutions is looking for an experienced *SSIS/SSRS Developer* for our client in Houston, TX.
*This is a very long term project* *Role:* * SSIS/SSRS Developer Location: Houston, TX* *Duration:** 24 Months* *Job Description:* In this role the Software Engineer will provide appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle. Providing advanced database development expertise in design, data handling, stored procedures, SQL queries, and views for application development. *Job Responsibilities* Work within a collaborative team environment to create enterprise software solutions towards a suite of interconnected products. Develop reports through Reporting Services (SSRS) from a variety of data sources including data marts and relational databases. Develop solutions using SSRS/SSIS/ETL technologies. Develop data storage solutions that may include a variety of data sources including, structured data, unstructured data, cloud formats, and/or big data. Prepare and review quality system requirements, functional specifications, technical designs and implementation documentation. Strong understanding of multi-tiered architecture and web-based applications. Understanding of distributed systems and multi-threading. Strong affinity for object-oriented programming and design patterns. Excellent systems analysis, organizational, problem solving, troubleshooting, time management, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills a must. Demonstrated experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast paced, technically challenging environment. Relevant product development and / or industry experience required *Required Skills: * Extensive experience in SQL and MS SQL Server 2008/2012 SSIS/ETL or in SSRS report design and implementation. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or Engineering. 5 + years of design and development and/or architectural experience on Microsoft platforms developing a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). 4+ years in middle-tier (business logic) and data access tier OOAD, and development in an OO language.
