*Title: Sr. SAP FICO Functional Duration: * *6-9 Months Location: Rockville, MD* * Summary* IT delivery partner to the Finance business to provide SAP acquisition integration delivery support across all FI areas of functionality. SAP FI includes business process configuration, integration, or site migration to existing functionality in a broad number of areas such as: General Ledger, Taxes, Banks, Foreign Currency, Fixed Assets, EC-CS (company consolidations), Cost Center Accounting and Product costing, Profit Center Accounting, AP, AR, internal orders, profitability analysis, inter-company processes and postings, cross-company transactions, government billing and project systems. *Experience* • 8+ years of SAP FI system configuration and business analysis • Strong SAP FI experience in taxes, foreign currency, and intercompany processes • Excellent skills in understanding and documenting business requirements • Excellent skills in IT Project Management to lead SAP FI acquisition activities *Key Responsibilities* SAP Configuration / Business Analysis • Elicit acquisition integration requirements using effective methods such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis. • Proactively communicate and collaborate with business owners to analyze information needs and functional requirements and assist business owners in assessing the feasibility of technical or process solutions to meet business needs. • Work closely with client personnel and business partners to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and/or business processes. • Develop requirements specifications, technical specifications, and design documents according to standard templates. • Configure and implement SAP FI components to meet business decisions, requirements, and processes. • Coordinate with SAP Developers on technical solutions and act as the liaison to the business on implementation of technical objects. • Manage the change request process to document and track all system changes, obtain approval to migrate to production, and ensure business validation is obtained once changes are in production system. • Actively and regularly tracks and manages project issues and change requests to closure. • Maintains and reports project metrics such as upcoming project tasks, delayed project tasks, project critical path, open action item, issue and change aging reports. • Proactively and effectively communicates with project stakeholders. • Escalates potential project risks, issues and project delays as required. *Quality Assurance and Testing* • Coordinate business testing of SAP to ensure all delivery components are thoroughly tested as well as ensure regression testing is performed against existing production functionality where appropriate. • Ensures that all tests are documented and approved according IT standards • Understands technical design specifications, defines test conditions, develops accurate and complete test plans, and conducts/coordinates testing according to plan. • Ensures continuing operational quality by documenting bug fixes and enhancements, testing and releasing updates. *Training* • Proactively assists with the identification of training requirements with respect to system changes. • Develops and delivers training to business users related to new functionality being delivered. *Best Regards, * * Mallikarjuna* Sr Technical Recruiter Lead | 9to9 Software Solutions LLC W: 860-760-0401 | F: 855-929-SOFT [email protected] | http://www.9to9soft.com [image: http://www.9to9soft.com/images/9to9logo.jpg] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
