Title: *Hyperion HFM Consultant* Location: *Palo Alto, CA* Duration: *6+ Months* Client: *VMWare* *REQUIREMENTS:* · Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Finance Business Analyst/Functional Consultant. 5 -6 years’ experience with Hyperion with experience in Hyperion 11.1.2 or higher. · Implementation experience and detailed understanding of the following Applications modules in Release 11: HFM, FDM, DRM in the Global Finance Organization. · Working knowledge of Hyperion configurations / setups for HFM / FDM. · Must have exceptional communication skills, able to communicate and gather business requirements effectively with both a technical audience and business users. · Must have experience giving presentations to senior management and Business Process owners · Exposure to Oracle GL will be an advantage *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Document functional business requirements and business cases · Manage requirements process with end users · Assist with translating business requirements into a solution design · Participate in appropriate steps during system development life cycle to ensure functional requirements are met. · Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives · Perform gap analysis: as is vs. to be · Participate in end to end implementation planning to include project management, issue management, communication and change management · Writing and reviewing QA and UAT test scripts · Managing UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff · Preparation of user documentation and training documentation as necessary · Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements *EDUCATION:* · 4-year degree in Information Management, MIS, or related field.
