Hi, Our Houston-based global manufacturing client is looking to fill the position of a contract Java Programmer/Analyst with 2-4 years experience.
*Role Responsibilities:* *1. Develop and maintain Web applications as defined by Project Lead.* • Analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting all company Internet/Intranet Web applications • Assist users in definition of Business problems. • Propose, design and implement technical solutions. • Estimate schedules for projects undertaken and complete them on time, adhering to predetermined specifications and quality standards. • Can demonstrate working experience and understanding of full software application development/ lifecycle *2. Support and Train internal/external users on existing applications.* • Troubleshoot programs according to the system requirements and specifications. • Must be willing to be on call • Ability to communicate with end users in a supportive role *3.
