Technical Skills: · Minimum of seven 5 years of Java development and J2EE experience. · Minimum of five (5) years of system design. · Two (2) years of Hibernate, Icefaces/JSF***, Spring, and AJAX · PL/SQL, SQL, Eclipse, Unix and JDBC experience · Experience with WebLogic would be a plus Education/Experience · Bachelor's degree/equivalent in computer science, MIS or related discipline · 5+ years experience in systems development and the skills/platform/environment requested by client · Skills and Competencies: · Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills · Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue · Full working knowledge of an application development language /package, program design, application development methodology Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: · Gathers user requirements data in order to prepare functional specifications · Designs and transforms user requirements into an application program for a data processing system · Works on highly complex projects and provides technical direction.
