Role :WINDOWS ADMIN Location :NEW YORK Interview : Phone and F2F - Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in a Data Center environment as a Windows Servers administrator. - Minimum 5 years of managing Microsoft Exchange and BES servers in an enterprise environment - Experience in upgrading and migrating Windows AD domain and Exchange - Working knowledge or Symantec Altiris and Enterprise Vault - Deep and broad experience with Windows Server (2003 / 2008), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows Clustering, and relevant training or certifications: MCTS or MCITP strongly preferred - Experience performing second and third-level Windows Server operations support at a mid to large-scale enterprise - Good understanding of related storage and network technologies - Ability to operate in and respect of *least privilege* security model - Understanding of the pillars of the ITIL framework - Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills - Must have a high degree of technical curiosity and a real passion for technology Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements. Description: Responsibilities would include: - Helping to define and execute ongoing administration, monitoring and health maintenance plans, procedures, and operations - Diagnosing, resolving, and communicating advanced problems - Management of an internal corporate infrastructure and - Acting as a hands-on senior technical resource for several systems administrators while coaching, training, and directing the work of junior teammates - Respond to customer escalated issues, primarily by web interface, telephone and e-mail - Monitor environment using provided tools and escalates issues as required - Work flexible schedules, which may include weekends or holidays - Perform 24x7 on-call responsibilities during scheduled periods - Must rack and stack servers and lift up to 70 LBS - Cable and label enterprise devices to company standards - Maintain a diligent inventory of spare parts and production devices - Conduct daily visual inspections of enterprise environment - Document and perform time sensitive changes to production equipment - Perform RMA procedures for defective parts Thanks.
