Responsibilities of the consultant will include: Provide Engineering assistance in the overall build of the GRID BCP data center . Organize and attend requirements gathering and solution design sessions with other IT groups Conduct and attend weekly meetings, drive discussions, record and follow up on action items Assist in the review and evaluation of proposed infrastructure system designs and changes. Create details design documentation for Datacenter network connectivity. Understanding of network protocols, network platforms such as *Cisco/Juniper/Arista to design and troubleshoot new implementation*. * Qualifications:* *Direct experience in Datacenter network design is mandatory.* Expert knowledge in *TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP required.* *Strong background in various vendor IOS, routers, and switches required.* Meticulous lab testing capabilities, including generating test plans based on technical requirements. Possess ability to quickly and effectively interpret data. Possess ability to design large systems, specifically Datacenters. Possess ability to perform very complex implementations with little or no guidance and/or oversight from a project manager. Theoretical and practical application of Layer 2 VPNs (MPLS) Experience using packet generators and analyzers desirable. Experience in inter-networking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven project management skills required. Must work well in team environment.
