Job Title: PHP Developer
Location: NYC Midtown
Duration: 3-6 months +
Interview - F2F is required
Responsibilities:
· Provide PHP programming and functionality for consumer services
· Build and maintain website in LAMP environment
· Translate business data and information into program design
· Tackle daily challenges providing creative problem solving
recommendations
Requirements:
· 5+ years experience working with the following technologies:
- PHP 5.2/5.3 /5.4 (curl, memcached)
- SQL / MySQL 5.x (cluster configuration and MySql optimization)
- JavaScript / jQuery (UI)
- HTML and CSS
- Linux
- MVC
· Proficiency in object oriented development and ability to apply OO
concepts
· Experience with test driven development and php unit
· Excellent interpersonal, business management, time management, and
developmental skills.
· Experience with version control SVN or Git
· Demonstrated ability to meet or beat assigned targets and deadlines
under normal circumstances, and ability to make trade-offs and when needed
to optimize outcome when conditions change
· Ability to communicate with other employees in the company in both
technical and non-technical roles.
· Degree in computer science or equivalent degree
Would be great:
· PHP frameworks like Zend, Yii, Symphony etc.
· REST/RPC API design and development
· Experience with protocol buffers
· AWS elastic beanstalk, EC2, L13 and S3
