Role : Qlikview Developer Location: NY or Chicago, IL Length: 6+ months Start: ASAP Interview: phone Job Description : · Ability to analyze and review client business data to indentify key indicators pertaining to operations, risk, finance, compliance, process and controls. · Design and implement analytical business and technology solutions to meet key indicators. · Build dashboards using QlikView for senior management using flat files and database objects. · Ability to suggest Qlikview dashboard mockups and proposals based on the requirements. · Developed QlikView Dashboards using Chart Box (Drill Down, Drill up & Cyclic Grouping), List, Input Field, Table Box and Calendar & Date Island. · Developed KPIs and set analysis applications. · Experience in QlikView Functions (Date and Time, Keep, Join, Mapping, String & input Fields etc...) · Developed User Interactive Sheets & Reports as business needs. · Writing SQL Scripts to load the relevant Data in QlikView Applications. · Developed Macros, SET ANALYSIS to provide custom functionality in QlikView Applications. · Implemented Security & involved in Deployment of QlikView Applications. · Develop simple and complex reports including list, cross tabs and charts with drill-thru capabilities & report level calculations. · Ability to write complex database queries. · Ability to perform functions in excel such as vlookups, pivots etc · Business intelligence/MIS experience · Data visualization experience · 2 years of DV Tool experience - QlikView, Spotfire or Tableau · Database connection knowledge, odbc, oledb, sql · Highly proficient excel/sharepoint · Good business analysis skills and design skills for UI · 3-6 years of software development experience in large, mission critical (preferably financial services) organization. · Well-versed in development of QlikView Dashboards · Ability to perform data analysis, troubleshoot data integrity issues and trend data analysis, ad-hoc reporting and advanced report authoring. · Strong understanding of dimensional modeling of Star Schemas, Snow-Flake Schemas methodologies, dimensional data structures and complex hierarchies. · Ability to articulate complex data problems and solutions required. · Able to communicate effectively with other team members.
