Job Title : ETL developer (*Informatica , UNIX, Message Broker )* Location : Des Moines, IA Duration : 6+ Months Rate : $ 55/hrc2c Interview : Phone & Face to face The ETL Software Administrator will be required to analyze, configure, and maintain existing and to-be-developed integration processes. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding and experience with Informatica administration, Business Intelligence, and ETL architecture. A strong understanding of relational databases and system integration is essential. Responsibilities include: · Perform Informatica Powercenter 9.x Installations and upgrades. Customize installation to optimize fit with the overall environment. · Setup and configure Powercenter domain, repository and services. · Setup and administer Powercenter User Security Management. · Proactively monitor all Informatica implementation servers. · Work on refreshing Dev/QA/UAT environments on a regular basis per project requirements. · Participate in defining best practices in administration and data integration along with best practices for developers. · Support infrastructure planned maintenance and outages. · Optimize effectiveness and efficiency of systems. · Investigate integration and interface problems. Coordinate recovery and problem resolution activities with other IM staff. · Requires occasional availability during non-business hours and be in the 24x7 on-call rotation. Skills / Experience: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Five or more years of experience working with medium or larger operational environments supporting *Informatica servers*, preferably 9.x · Ability to automate the monitoring of server activity and error logging for the Informatica environments. · Five or more years of experience working in *UNIX* environments and proficiency in shell scripting. · Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including facilitation and team coordination skills. · Strong analytical skills required for timely problem resolution, accurate estimates of resource utilization, disciplined testing skills.
