*Role: * Design & Development of Retail Point-of-sales projects using Core Java/J2EE technologies, participate in Design Reviews, Code Reviews & Unit Testing, and direct co-ordination with client, offshore and third parties *Experience: * * At least 8+ years of industry experience with strong technical skills in Core Java, J2EE and related technologies. * Expert level knowledge of Core Java, multithreading, Caching, Performance tuning, Collections, Webservices, J2EE Design Patterns & SOA. * Previous hands-on experience of Point of Sales/Retail domain/solutions. * Excellent understanding of Webservices, Jersey, REST API's. * Intermediate level Knowledge of RDBMS, Oracle , PL-SQL, MySQL. * Hands-on experience with IDE (Eclipse) * Hands-on experience with version control/review systems (e.g. CVS, SVN, Subversion, Crucibles). * Hands-on experience with Build control systems (e.g. ANT, Maven, Jenkins) * Knowledge of *NIX and MAC OS. * Troubleshooting Acumen.
