The BI platform technology stack includes Informatica Powercenter, Oracle RDBMS 11g and Cognos 10. The Business Analyst partners with users to prioritize requests, document requirements, write specifications and test scripts and perform testing. They coordinate report development with the development center and may assist with development. *Key Requirements * *Required * * 5-7 years in the Business Intelligence area as business analyst. * Experience with the ERP from Oracle (E-Business Suite). * Experience with Cognos 8, 10 or an equivalent tool. * Knowledge of SQL for Oracle (ability to test report comparing with direct SQL) * Able to work independently. *Plus * * Experience in international / medical device companies. * Experience in change management. * Experience in project management. *Primary Responsibilities * * Analyze requirements with key users. * Write specifications and explain them to developers. * Test and reconcile the reports in-depth. * Ensure data consistency and integrity. * Potentially, develop reports in Cognos 10 (for simple reports.
