To work with a developer team producing BI solutions, testing the v-next versions of their products in a production environment. *Perform the following:* Perform a SharePoint 2007 to 2010 migration. Work collaboratively with our operations team, critical business users, technical experts, and end users to diagnose and resolve issues/errors. Identify opportunities for innovative improvements with SharePoint 2010 services. Manage and perform Setup, Capacity Planning, Change Control, Reporting, DB support, Backup/Restore, Security, System updates, and other maintenance tasks. Test v-next versions of SharePoint and BI applications in a production environment *Skills:* Minimum of 3+ year Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) 3.0 Medium to Expert level of experience with DNS, IIS, SSL, SMTP, SQL Server and Windows Server 2008 and load-balancing technologies Ability to communicate with server/infrastructure administrators as well as developers and non-technical business constituents about the above technologies Ability to assess client requirements and determine appropriate architecture for SharePoint configuration Ability to troubleshoot server and farm installations, including web.config, SharePoint Logs, SQL Logs, SQL Profiler Strong consulting and analysis skills (ability to understand business needs and to help translate those into technical solutions) Ability to work independently (self-starter) as well as part of a team Exceptional communication, documentation and organizational skills. * Position No: 2* Title: Program Manager Location: Redmond, WA Duration: Long term. 4+ years of technical program management in a software engineering environment.
